Andrew Darlow is an author, photographer and digital imaging consultant based in Piscataway, New Jersey. For over 15 years, he has consulted on the topics of digital output and color management for internationally acclaimed photographers and corporations such as Tiffany & Co and his commercial clients have included Brooks Brothers, Kenneth Cole, Tourneau watches, Cigar Aficionado and The Body Shop. He also served for two years as Editorial Director of Digital Imaging Techniques magazine, where he wrote numerous articles and reviews on the topics of digital and fine-art photography, inkjet printing, and Photoshop techniques.
He has conducted seminars around the world at photo-related conferences, for professional photography organizations and at the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York. His photography has been widely exhibited in group and solo shows around the world, andhis work has been included in many imaging and photography publications.
Andrew’s love of cats and dogs began at a very young age, and hisphotographs of canines and felines have played an important role in hiscareer. His pet photography has been featured in numerous publications, including Animal Fair magazine, The Home News Tribune (Central New Jersey), and The AKC Gazette, the official publication of the American Kennel Club. Darlow has photographed a wide variety of people and their pets in both formal and informal situations.
Over the last 10 years, Darlow has photographed numerous dog shows, including the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. He has appeared on “The Doggie Chronicles,” a radio show and podcast about dogs, and his pet photography has appeared on the News 12 New Jersey Television program. Darlow has donated his photo and custom printing services over the years to a number of causes, including the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Women’s Venture Fund, The Seeing Eye (Guide Dog Training Institute), and the garden tour for Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (a no-kill shelter for dogs and cats).
